Bill Clinton – more talk than speech
When listening to Bill Clinton yesterday, I couldn’t help feeling that I was experiencing a speech from times past. The cheers seemed to interrupt his flow. People were applauding and shouting before he wanted them to. It wasn’t a speech, it was a talk. And a good one. Albeit also a long one.

Bill Clinton is making me queezy I have never heard a politician be this real it almost feels wrong #DNC2012Eric Dickerson
Bill Clinton had to repeat “listen to me know”, and “wait”, a couple of times. If he hadn’t been Bill Clinton, pausing for small jokes every now and then, he’d come of as a teacher lecturing the audience with raised forefinger threatening with detention. But instead he got the title of grand old man.

His focus on numbers and facts, made #arithmatic a new hot tag on twitter. Who would have thought?

The lecturing started to drain the twitterverse’s patience, when he went well beyond his 33 minutes from the 1988 speech.
